WORLD LEADERS CLIMATE SUMMIT

22ND OF APRIL MARKS WORLD EARTH DAY, TO EFFECTIVELY MARK THE DAY, ABOUT FORTY TOP GLOBAL POLITICAL FIGURES ARE ATTENDING A VIRTUAL “LEADERS SUMMIT ON CLIMATE” AT THE INSTANCE OF THE PRESIDENT OF UNITED STATES.

SCIENTISTS IN RECENT YEARS HAVE UNDERSCORED THE NEED TO LIMIT PLANETARY WARMING TO 1.5 DEGREES CELSIUS IN OTHER TO STAVE OFF THE WORST IMPACTS OF CLIMATE CHANGE.

THE SUMMIT HIGHLIGHTED HOW ENHANCED CLIMATE AMBITION WILL CREATE GOOD PAYING JOBS, ADVANCE INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGIES, AND HELP VULNERABLE COUNTRIES ADAPT TO CLIMATE IMPACTS.
