The federal high Court Abuja has ordered the service of originating processes to the Nigerian police council in the suit seeking removal of the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu from office.

The order made by Justice Ahmed Mohammed was due to irregular service of originating processes on the Nigerian Police Council, the fourth defendant in the matter.

The high court of the FCT has also discharged and acquitted the former governor of Imo state Ikedi Ohakim of alleged false information preferred against him by the inspector general of police.
