
President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday granted audience to his Ghanaian Counterpart Nana Akuffor- Addo.
President Akuffor-Addo is in Abuja to declare open the Extraordinary session of The ECOWAS Parliament as Chairman of the Sub- regional organisation.
President Buhari and the Ghanian leader held talks behind closed doors that lasted about one hour but details of their discussions were not made public.
Foreign Affairs Minister Geoffrey Onyeama however told Newsmen that the political developments in the Republic of Mali is an issue of concern to the West African leaders .
The Minister used the opportunity to confirm that a high powered team led by the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment is heading to Ghana next week for talks on the concerns of Nigerian traders in that country.
