The Nasarawa state police command has rescued Thirty (30) kidnap victims from the sardauna forest in Toto local government area of the state
This followed an intelligence report on the activities of suspected kidnappers in the area where they held victims hostage
Subsequently, a joint operation was carried out by the operatives of the command and Miyetti Allah vigilante group of Toto local government area to effect the rescue
In a statement by the police public Relations Officer, Ramhan Nansel, the victims comprising Twenty (20) males and Ten (10) Females which were rescued unhurt have been taken to the hospital for medical examination.
The victims will subsequently be reunited with their families after debriefing
