The Peoples Democratic Party has enjoined Nigerians to use the occasion of the 61st independence anniversary to further strengthen their resolve to take their country higher among the comity of nations.
The party”s spokesperson Kola Ologbondiyan in a statement from the says
the PDP congratulates Nigerians on the nation’s anniversary and urges them to use this year’s occasion to further consolidate on the unity and resilience for the task ahead.
The Action Democratic Party has similarly congratulated Nigerians for sustaining the bond of unity over the last 61 years.
The party’s national chairman Yabagi Sani in a statement says it is better for Nigerians to remain stronger together at all times.
The people’s redemption party also in a statement from its national chairman Falalu Bello has asked Nigerians to be more tolerant in their differences.
The party urges citizens to contribute towards the onerous task of building a more productive country.
