He said the successfully extricated passengers have been provided with on the spot medical care and discharged.
According to him the wreckage of the bus has been safely removed to allow for a free flow of traffic.
Eight passegers narrowly escaped death in the early hours of Monday when a bus with Lagos registration number GGE 972 GE suddenly veered into the train tracks while crossing the road at PWD inward Oshodi and collided with a fast moving commutter train in the process.
The bus was dragged along for a stretch of the journey before the train came to a complete halt.
Director-General, Lagos State emergency management agency Dr Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu who confirmed the incident said the situation has been brought under control with no loss of life recorded.
