Nigerian Television Authority has launched the campaign against rape and rapists.
The Director General of NTA, Mallam Yakubu Ibn Muhammed, assured that with the launching, NTA will continue to fight against the pandemic of rape until the country becomes free of the scourge.
He said this is part NTA’s commitment to the discharge of corporate social responsibility. The NTA DG also promised that NTA would be following and reporting updates on the cases of rape across the country until justice is done to the victims. The campaign, tagged ‘Stand Against Rape and
Rapist’ is expected to be taken up by all NTA stations in the forms of advocacy, follow up news reports on rape and special programming focused on efforts against rape.
