
The support and contribution of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) to the development of broadcasting organisations of Nigeria have been rewarded with a special recognition award by the umbrella body for broadcast outfits in Nigeria.
This was at the 2021gala night and award organised by the Broadcasting Organisation of Nigeria(BON).
From all parts of the country, these media practitioners, serving and retired gathered in Abuja for the 74th general assembly of the organisation after which they converge for the gala night.
The event became a time for members to reunite, and also wine and dine.
One after the other, their dedication and service to the organisation over the years were rewarded.
Director general of the NTA, Yakubu Ibn Mohammed was on stage twice for personal and organisational recognitions.

Former acting directors general,of the NTA, Sola Omole and Philip Ofoegbu as well as pioneer chairman of BON, Shynle Wigwe, director general voice of nigeria, Osita Okechukwu also bagged the former chairmen of BON award.
Former DG of the NTA, Sola Omole says, the rescucitation of the election debate will further strengthen the nations democracy.
There were also posthumous award for some leaders of the organisation who stood out during their time.
