The Nigerian National petroleum Corporation, NNPC says there is no need for panic-buying as it has over 2 Billion litres of premium motor spirit (petrol) in stock to guarantee steady supply for at least 60 days.

A statement issued by the Corporation spokesperson, Dr Kennie Obateru says the disruptions and curtailment of free flow of vehicular movement occasioned by the end SARS protests as well as the curfew and vandalism, particularly in Lagos, affected petroleum products supply.
But with the review of the curfew and restriction of movement by various State Governments, normalcy is expected to return to the petroleum products supply chain in the next couple of days.
