NIGERIA’S PERMANENT DELEGATE TO UNESCO PRESENTS LETTER OF CREDENCE

Nigeria’s ambassador and permanent delegate to united nations educational, scientific and cultural organization, UNESCO, Dr Hajo Sani has formally presented her letter of credence to UNESCO’s director general Audrey Azoulay in Paris.

While appreciating UNESCO for keeping afloat the mutually beneficial cooperation that exists between Nigeria and UNESCO, Dr Sani commended UNESCO’s role in the fostering of peace, security and development and particularly rising to the challenges of covid-19.

She reaffirmed Nigeria’s commitment to UNESCO’s global priorities for gender and other ideals of the organization.

The director general of UNESCO Audrey Azoulay appreciated Nigeria as well for supporting the UNESCO to deliver on its mandates as well as the offer to host the 2022 global media and information literacy week.
