The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has condenmed a video in circulation on the social media by one Agbaeze Francis Chinedu, a Nigerian citizen resident in Switzerland, for what It called false in his accusation of the Nigerian Embassy in Berne of negligence and poor service delivery.
In a statement The Ministry explained consular services have been restricted in compliance with the new developments in Switzerland, regarding the mandatory teleworking directive, limiting the number of people in workplaces, the Immigration Officers have informed appropriately that all cancelled appointments will be re-booked when the lockdown is lifted.
The statement also said the Agbaeze Francis Chinedu did not apply for booking and wonders why he accused officials of the Embassy in the Video.
The Ministry reminds and urges Nigerian citizens in their various host countries to kindly abide by the online booking systems of their Missions and refrain from disorderly conduct.
