The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, has commence the sensitization of the cattle sellers and meat processors in Kara market on the need to keep a high hygiene by desisting from disposing waste into Kara waterways.
The agency’s officials coordinated by the DG LASEMA and the special adviser to the governor of Ogun State on environment Mr Ola Oresanya advised all cattle sellers andl Meat processors to dispose waste properly through Ogun State DSP waste operators.
This indiscriminate disposal waste could result into flooding around the water ways that flows into Owode Onirin/ Mile 12 axis and other parts of Lagos. In addition an epidemic could result from this.
