The heavy traffic along the Lagos/ibadan expressway has been compounded this Saturday morning with fire outbreak resulting from an accident involving a 40fit containerized Truck loaded with fabric and a tanker laden with 33 thousand liter of petrol.

The truck had a brake failure while moving inward Berger and collided with a tanker.
No casualty has been recorded.
Emergency responders are at the scene to prevent secondary accident while the officers of the federal road safety commission FRSC are battling with the traffic that has build up along the axis.

DG Lagos State Emergency Management Agency LASEMA advises Commuters to take advantage of alternative routes especially the Ojota or 7UP exits until the backlog of traffic is eases.
The Agency has since moved the accidented vehicles from the thoroughfare.
