The independent national Electoral Commission, INEC has fixed 5th of December, 2020 for the conduct of the fifteen BYE-ELECTIONS in eleven states earlier scheduled for October 31st.
INEC national commissioner for information Festus Okoye in a statement indicates that, the new date was taken after series of stakeholders meetings.
INEC appeals to voters and stakeholders in the States with pending bye-elections to continue to cooperate with the Commission in its efforts to deliver credible elections under a safe environment.
