UPDATE:
Residents of ifako ijaiye are still in shock over a gas explosion which occurred thursday. While some victims are in severe pains others are counting their losses.
A gas tanker exploded this thursday at Cele bus stop in the Ifako-Ijaye area of Lagos with at least 50 persons sustaining burn injuries.
Director-General of the Lagos state emergency management agency Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu who confirmed the incident said unknown truck conveying gasoline had a lone accident and exploded.
He said efforts are being intensified by emergency responders to put out the fire from the explosion and urged Lagosians to remain calm
