The burnt car carcass has been recovered off the road with the aid of the Lagos emergency management agency’s heavy-duty equipment (Hiab).
Secondary incident averted and road now free for vehicular activities.
A car with unknown registration number was gutted by fire Saturday on Ojuelegba bridge inward barracks. Investigations show that this was as a result of electrical fault.
Due to the incident, there was an obstruction of free vehicular activities inward barracks.
The initial flames were put out by Federal fire service , Lagos State Fire Service and LASEMA .
Director,Lagos State emergency agency Dr Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu said that there was no loss of life or injury sustained at the scene of incident.
According to him the agency responders, LASTMA, Nigeria Police and FRSC are working together to evacuate the burnt carcass to prevent any secondary incident and ease vehicular activities.
