The eight newly appointed justices of the Supreme Court have been sworn-in.
This brings the number of supreme court justices to twenty though it is still short of the stipulated number of twenty one recommended by the constitution.
The Chief justice of Nigeria, justice Ibrahim Tanko Mohammad who administered oath of office asked the justices not to allow their personal ambition or extraneous considerations to beloud their sense of judgement .
He also advised them to be guided by moral uprightness, integrity respect for the constitution and other extant laws.
