This is contained in a statement by the Director Army Public Relations Brigadier general Mohammed Yerima to refutes a trending video allegedly depicting some personnel of the nigerian army extorting money from motorists in Edo.
Brig Gen Mohammed Yerima notes that, after critical analysis, it was discovered the video is fake and orchestrated by the mischief makers to tarnish the image of the military.
Gen Yerima while urging the public to disregard the video,assured that, the Nigerian Army is a professional force that operates in accordance with the rules of engagements and its constitutional mandate .
